Great Gifts for Writers

Below is a compilation of great products discovered on ye olde grand Internet. And, coincidentally, it’s the season for gifting. How convenient! If you’re looking for great holiday (and I use holiday here because I really do mean all of the holidays that occur at this time of year) gifts for writers, you don’t have to look far to find clever little tokens of appreciation/love/encouragement/friendship.

Soap For Writers Thank you Whiskey River Soap Co. for creating this product and making me giggle. Their entire product line is full of hilarious names and sub-headers that would make great little gifts for almost anyone. Whoever they hired to be their writer is one talented SOB. This bar o’ soap is specifically made for writers and is thus particularly dear to my heart.

Freedom of Speech T-Shirt Etsy is great. You can find absolutely anything and everything there. For my friend who had a baby in February, I found a Spock Live Long and Prosper onesie. I mean seriously, how perfect is that for Trekkie parents? Anyway, personalized and small-run t-shirts are really a thing right now  and I think any retro-inspired writer would love this typewriter t-shirt. This little beauty was created by FullSpectrumApparel and can be found here, if you’re so inclined.

Book Lovers Jenga I saw this on Pinterest and couldn’t say I WANT fast enough! Jenga is a great game all on it’s own…but this book lovers’ edition is just FAB! I can’t wait for the fun to begin! Amazon is another one of those places where you can find absolutely anything! Click here to get a closer look at the product.

Good Grammar is Sexy This popped up on my Facebook Newsfeed a while back and I can’t tell you how badly I want to add it to my wardrobe. I didn’t used to wear funny t-shirts and I never really thought people would react to them. But then I bought one (It has a picture of the US, an arrow to the state of Missouri that says “We are Here” and then “Wave next time you flyover”) I can’t tell you how many comments I’ve gotten every time I wear that shirt. Love it! I plan to wear it on the plane next time I travel somewhere. No joke. Click here to get a better look or to purchase this shirt.

Scrabble Necklace Pendant This necklace brings out my inner feminist. I love this quotation and the necklace itself. If you’re looking for a fun jewelry gift for the writer or reader in your life, I think this would get a big grin and thank you! The artist, who owns the store HomeStudio on Etsy has lots of other cute pieces for sale too! Click here to visit HomeStudio on Etsy!

Alice in Wonderland Writing Gloves So I’m not exactly sure why someone would need writing gloves, but maybe a writer you know loves to write outdoors, even when the weather is cold. Or, gloves simply make a great fashion statement. I thought these were super cute! You can get these beauties from Storiarts.
